Country codes are not displaying in 2525D.

  1. On the MSE pane set the standard to 2525D.
  2. Search for and select an Activity symbol (ex: "Arrest").
  3. Add the 2525D schema to a project database.
  4. Switch to the Label tab and set a country code.
  5. Add the symbol to the map.

I tried to look further into this with the exact spot in the standard that calls for this. Figure D-3 and table D-II (pg 167-171) do not mention country code placement on the symbol. @csmoore @lfunkhouser does anyone want to confirm this. If country code is not called for this issue can just be closed.

@dfoll - this label does look like it appears for one symbol set (Activities) / figure-2/table G-II

In newer versions of both MIL-STD-2525 and APP-6, Country is now available for Units, Equipment, Dismounted, Cyber, Activities, some control measures, and possibly more.

Also, note that the SIDC will use a numeric code, while the user will use the three-letter code, or a graphic.

For example:

<Value Name='840' Label='UNITED STATES' LabelAlias='US/USA'/>
