LED Ring on Corsair H150i Elite LCD Turns Off When FanControl Starts

I'm experiencing an issue where the LED ring around the LCD on my Corsair H150i Elite turns off as soon as I launch FanControl. I'm not running iCUE or any other conflicting software, so FanControl is the only tool managing my cooler. The LCD itself remains on, but the RGB ring doesn't. I've attempted adjusting environment variables (FANCONTROL_CORSAIRLINK_DIRECT_LIGHTING_DEFAULT_RGB and FANCONTROL_CORSAIRLINK_DIRECT_LIGHTING_DEFAULT_BRIGHTNESS) without success.
