Field Supervisor Tablet

As an FTA/Field Supervisor, I find it a challenge to efficiently find the information I need to maintain ARENA flow. The request is to have functionality available for the FTA/FS-ish role that joins a bunch of information together in one place, akin to how the HR tablet has most things they do in one place.

I couldn't quantify exactly what I wanted, so I made a proof of concept and tried using it at several events. The POC is a Greasemonkey script (userscript) that I've made available on github, and a demo screen recording on Google Drive

Describe the solution you'd like
A central hub for ARENA management. Generally, the things I've found when making and testing my POC:

• Highlight/focus a row in the match schedule or cycle time report
  • POC - hover and click
• Highlight a team's matches
  • POC - click a team number, and it'll highlight that team across all matches. Click the team again or somewhere else on the row and it'll unhighlight.
• For a given match, show all 4 teams' last match and previous match
  • POC - each team has a highlight (different colors), and the previous and next for each team is highlighted in the same color
  • Intent here is to know if a team had a quick turnaround and may need more support getting set up, or to let the team on your field know that they're going to be queuing right away
• Cycle time report updating automatically
  • POC - adds a refresh button and persists the current highlights across refreshes

Some things I don't have in the POC but would be nice to have

• Playoffs - For the teams ending a match, where the team is going next. I've just pulled up the audience display bound to the field to show the teams as they're leaving.
• HR's match start countdown timer. Not because I care about T206 or G301, but knowing how far we are from the start of the next match is helpful to know how much urgency there is resolving issues
• Team information - wanted to add to my script to have a popover for teams to show their name (a lot of our teams refer to names that I can't remember) and link to the FTA page for them
• link to pit map with a highlight might be interesting

There are other things that I can't remember currently

Describe alternatives you've considered

• Living with the status quo (4 tabs open, manually refreshing)
• More greasemonkey

Additional context

• Playoffs in the POC is broken. Only had a few hours to put this together, and by Playoffs the highlights aren't as critical.
• It's a hacky greasemonkey script. Not great code 😅 But it gets the point across
