QGIS 3.40 is not ready for FLO-2D users. Use it at your own risk.

Issues you might see.
Can't open windows
Can't select coordinate systems
Units
Crashes
Can't work with geopackage table joins

I think this version is too unstable

I know. I haven't crashed QGIS this often since 2.18.

Joining gpkg tables in QGIS layer list is crashing QGIS 3.40.2
