Any luck getting an esp_eeprom library to work with the Lolin 32 oled board?

Have you had any success getting an esp_eeprom library to work with it? I just need to store one float value in flash but so far have not been able to get any of the libraries for eeprom emulation to compile with the Lolin32. (got lots of other stuff to work just fine with it).
