While the modpack only intends to add mods that fit vanilla style, you are free to add any Fabric mod you want for your Minecraft!
This tutorial is with an assumption that you have the pack already installed and launcher opened. If you don't, see these instructions.
Method 1:
- Open CurseForge App
- Go to
My Modpacks
, click on Fabulously Optimized - Click on the three dots, select
Profile Options
- Check "Allow content management for this profile", click
Done
- Click 🧩 (puzzle icon)
- Choose any mod you want and click Install. You can manage them later under Installed Mods tab
- Run the game by clicking
Play
. You should now have the new mod(s) installed!
Method 2:
- Open CurseForge site, search for a compatible mod
- On the compatible version, click Install
- CurseForge Launcher opens. Click
Select a profile
- Select "Fabulously Optimized", click
Install
- The mod will be added to the FO profile
- Run the game by clicking
Play
. You should now have the new mod(s) installed!
- Open Modrinth App
- Click on Fabulously Optimized
- Click
⚙️ Options
- Scroll down and click
🔒 Unlock
, then click again- Do NOT click
× Unpair
! If you do that, you'll have to download a new instance of FO and manually move worlds/resource packs/etc over.
- Do NOT click
- Click

- Click
🔍 Add Content
- Search for the mod you want
- Click
⤓ Install
- Go back to
🏠
and run the game as usual. You should now have the new mod(s) installed!
- Open Prism Launcher
- Click on Fabulously Optimized, then
Edit
- Click on
Mods
, thenDownload mods
- Search for the mod you want
- Select the mod and click
Select mod for download
. Repeat for any other mods you'd want to add. - Click
Review and confirm
. - A confirmation window appears, click
OK
. - The mods will be downloaded and added to your instance.
- Open MultiMC
- Click on Fabulously Optimized, then
Instance Folder
- Open Modrinth, set Loader to Fabric
- Choose any mod you want and go to its Versions page
- Click

on the latest version that is compatible with Fabric and your Minecraft version - Once downloaded, copy the JAR file to the pack's "mods" folder.
- Run the game as usual. You should now have the new mod(s) installed!
- Open Minecraft Launcher, click on
Installations
- Hover on the Fabric installation, click 📂
- Open Modrinth, set Loader to Fabric
- Choose any mod you want and go to its Versions page
- Click

on the latest version that is compatible with Fabric and your Minecraft version - Once downloaded, copy the JAR file to the pack's "mods" folder.
- Run the game as usual. You should now have the new mod(s) installed!
