When auto hide of navigation is disabled, opening a new tab auto focuses on the location bar. However, auto hiding does not EVEN after selecting the 'auto select location input on new tab'.
Thanks

I'm experiencing the same problem on Firefox 32.0.3 on Arch Linux. When I create a new tab, the location bar is not visible and does not have focus, unless the location bar is already visible (whether due to having focus or the position of the cursor). So if I move the cursor up and click the new tab button, the location bar will be visible and have focus when the new tab appears, but if I hit CTRL-T while the location bar is hidden, the location bar will not appear or gain focus when the new tab appears. "Auto Select Location Input on New Tab" is enabled.
