Text

Texts are accessible via an array of variable width STRINGs, using the control's ID:

Text(ControlID) = "Your text"

Controls that use the text property directly:

• Textbox

Controls that use the text property indirectly:

• Button, Menu item, PictureBox: if you use the LoadImage methods, the Text property holds the loaded file image name, if load is successful.
• List, Dropdown list: the Text property holds the list items, separated by CHR$(13). Use the List methods to manipulate those, instead of directly changing them.
