L1EM using hg19 reference

I have read in the wiki that we have to use hg38 reference. However, I was wondering if it is possible to choose another reference such as hg19?

I suppose it is possible to use hg19 if you build the reference as shown in the quick guide but use a hg19 fasta file instead. You could try this and compare the output from the hg38 reference.

Thank you for the suggestion! We are planning to add instructions in the future on how to use another reference genome.
