<p>The way we work</p>
<h2>DataForm Lab is simultaneously an architectural design practice and a research lab. We use
industrial robotic arms and other advanced fabrication technologies as creative inputs in a
design feedback loop. Our aim is to connect digital design and its materialisation through the
development of custom-made software and fabrication tools that generate seamless
workflows.</h2>

<p>We are passionate about design. Our team works across all project types
and scales, developing bespoke processes that merge architectural design with advanced
fabrication technologies for the delivery of innovative projects. We love challenges, so many
of the projects we undertake are unique, both in terms of design and materialisation. For this
reason, we couple cutting edge technology and a diverse team of talented individuals to

<p>We believe that Architecture at its core is about creative problem solving,
thus programming can revolutionize the way we design and build, helping us tackle
problems from multiple sides. Algorithmic thinking is essential to our design-to-fabrication
processes, enabling the delivery of bespoke architectural projects. Our team develops
customized software solutions that expand our practice’s design capabilities and respond to
a vast variety of project requirements.</p>

<p>Testing our ideas and developing physical prototypes is an essential part of our practice’s
culture. We believe in the value of craftmanship and we aim to evolve and
enhance it through the use of high-tech tools. Taking advantage of the high flexibility of
industrial robotic arms and other digital fabrication technologies, we are able to test design
ideas in a fast and cost-efficient manner. Through prototyping, we evaluate design iterations
in the early stages to deliver manufacturable design solutions</p>
