Ancient app-release.apk inside repository #299

Build products really should not be in the repository. Also, the app/app-release.apk file threw me off when I was trying to write #293. My patch fixed the issue on the first try. Unfortunately, I mistook app/app-release.apk for the build product, installed it and watched the TV start crashing as if it were running an ancient build of Windows.
It took me longer than I am willing to admit to figure out what had gone wrong. I would not have figured it out had I not decided to try my hand at a few other minor changes and installed a debug build because I did not have much time to spend on fixing things. :/
