Local Directory For Icons

Hello,
I'm looking for some help to figure out how to store the icons locally on my machine. I need the icons to not be accessible to the Obsidian sync. It is a known issue that the Obsidian Sync and the thousands of .svg files do not play nicely. I unfortunately have to use Obsidian sync because my work computer has all cloud drives block. This means I do not have access to dropbox, icloud, or gdrive.

All I want to do is curate my personal icon collection locally and just have data.json file sync and what ever is needed to point the plugin to look at a local folder.

I know zero about coding, but I'm pretty good at following directions. The solution that I tried was to just pick out the icons I wanted and just put them in the corresponding folders. The issue arises with sync. Lets say on my PC I have 19 icons in the the font-awesome-solid folder but when the iphone tries to sync it will download the entire 1100ish. it seems that i'm not syncing personal files but calling for a download? IDK, like I mentioned. I don't know what's going on. I just would really like this to get to work as i find it much faster to find the right topic with the icons when i'm taking notes and it's nice to look at.

If there is a better fix I'm open to it.
