While not really a big problem it would be nice to get the information that a BuildAvaloniaApp method is needed for the preview. It is correctly logged
AvaloniaPreviewerProcess - MainWindow.xaml (port 41131) [stderr]: AvaloniaTest.Program doesn't have a method named BuildAvaloniaApp
But it would be nice to have that shown in the preview instead, so that one knows what has to be done to get a correct preview.

That's a good idea, actually, and I think it's possible to do.
