Bug Report

Describe the Bug

Some Exceptions are catched and logged, some are catched and rethrown.

Expected Behavior

Clear understanding when we rethrow an exception and when not.

Observed Behavior

Steps to Reproduce

View code of those classes.

Possible Implementation

Define if problems with e. g. CCP should break the processing.
