Project Description
MatrixMind is a desktop application designed to assist engineering students with complex mathematics. Unlike standard calculators that only provide the final answer, MatrixMind focuses on the educational process. It computes accurate solutions for matrix operations and utilizes Generative AI to provide detailed, step-by-step explanations of the methodology. This allows students to not only verify their results but also understand the underlying logic required for their coursework. The tool is built to be a reliable, offline-first study aid with on-demand AI tutoring capabilities.
Tech Stack
The core application logic is built using Python to ensure high-performance computation for mathematical operations. Iintegrated Google Gemini API as the reasoning engine to interpret the mathematical data and generate human-readable explanations. The user interface was developed using customtkinter to provide a clean, accessible experience for students on desktop environments.
