Improve Install Guide #6

Looks like Phoenix tool is not a must, because you should already have TF1 out-of-the-box with the default firmware
The problem is that it does not boot, just goes to blank screen and then turns off. But I see folders are created on TF2, so looks like the init script has been executed correctly |
I dont even get that, when i put the OS card into the Mac, I get two "drives." to which one of them should I copy the bootloader? edit: |
hey, for mac: „just“ format as exfat but make sure you have selected master boot record instead of guid… that was the trick for me. |
@regevt did you format TF1 or TF2? |
TF2. TF1 i only put the bootloader files on both volumes |
This website seem to have a good guide for to get it going: https://retroresolve.com/guides/how-to-install-garlicos-on-the-rg35xx-plus/ |
Hi, thx for your awesome work!
I wish that your readme is a bit more precise where and how to copy the boot loader (init file without file ending but do I need chmod +x?). Also i just noticed that the stock SD card has multiple partitions and I cant make the RG35xx+ boot up garlic os 2.0.0 and 2.0.0 and it would be really helpful for me to troubleshoot.
Edit : Also the Phoenix tool is only available for Windows and not Mac :(
