Help needed -- Linking Taskwarrior to TaskChampion

I'm working on this project and in particular this issue, and I need some help.

This is a big project, with lots of tricky sub-projects. It would take me quite a while to accomplish on my own, and I'm not really qualified to work on most of it -- my C++ is pretty archaic, and I've never used CMake before, for example. Furthermore, I'm probably making lots of questionable design decisions with nobody there to say "uh, there's another way.." And, it's a bit of a lonely slog.

So: do you want to work with me on this project?
