Midi output not working

Hello,
I have a Yamaha Portable Grand DGX-630. I have already downloaded the driver and I know it works because I've used it in Sibelius and Grandorgue detects it as a midi device. I have midi input set to "core: Portable Grand Port1" and set initial midi settings for manual 1 to core: Portable Grand Port1. It had a response when I clicked listen to event. But I still can't hear anything when I play a note (only through the keyboard speakers with the yamaha sound), and I set it to a preset already.
