For me variable stroke width is a feature that I really need to be able to use a vector editor to make illustrations.
Is there any chance that feature is a part of the "Stylus and touch interaction" task below from the roadmap? Otherwise I would really appreciate if you would consider it. All the best!

Thanks for formally filing an issue we can use to track this. It's planned but requires some foundational work with spreadsheets and attributes (#1832) and some changes to the vector format before this is possible to cleanly represent. We'll probably see variable stroke widths no earlier than the end of summer if that helps.
