The result is a change of rights in the registry. This results in an inscription like "access is restricted by the administrator". Windows Defender works, but the user is limited in its settings. Upd. As for the UI, it will not be available when Windows Defender is turned off. The utility does not just stop it, but stops and turns off it and related services. Just a regular one is most likely suitable for you.the bat file for stopping WD. |

How do we reverse the changes this thing does after 'disabling' Windows Defender (which it does not do, but instead just disables the UI so now we can't access defender or the security settings AT ALL). Switching all the settings back to their original positions does zero. We're basically forced to do an inline reinstall of the OS.
