Combining non-duplicate materials as duplicates in blender 4.0 #88
Comments
Hello, make sure your names of all related nodes are correct: https://github.com/Grim-es/material-combiner-addon#after-clicking-save-atlas-to-the-materials-are-simply-merged-or-the-atlas-image-does-not-have-all-the-textures |
Solved.Just change your blender language to English and create new materials named in English, click "Save Atlas To..." button and it works. If you still can't solve this problem through my method, just find me along the net cable and hack me. |
It seems to be doing this on materials with different but similar looking RGB nodes for some reason resulting in a white used for most of them instead which is not intended at all. |
The real answer! I just don't understand why in the old version of Blender, it can run normally in languages other than English, but 4.2 has to switch to the English version |
In New Update Blender 4.0 I cannot "Save Atlas To..." as it just combines independently created materials into one
have tested with:
All materials on one combined mesh
All materials on separate meshes
All materials individually on separate meshes
all help appreciated, thank you!
