Exporting Number Cell not recognised in Excel

Is there any option to export number as number instead of number as text

Really want that feature !
Difficult for data manipulation in excel file as mathematical functions do not work on strings.

Worst part is if you format the rows items in the html itself, the matTableExporter uses those values instead of the values of the data. So.. if you format numbers in the presentation layer, those formattings are exported to excel.

Example: numbers formatted to "133,233,333" (english notation) is saved as a string. But the value in the data was 133233333
