Cannot communicate to Evince

Great, magnificent work, thank you very much for this Plugin.

After compiling a document, an error is displayed saying "Please update Evince and then try again". I am not using evince as PDF reader in my pc. I use Xreader 4.4.2, how can I change the setup for telling TeXiFy-IDEA that notice that. Thank you.

Thanks for asking. TeXiFy should only try to forward search with Evince if you have selected Evince as pdf viewer in the run configuration, is that the case?
As an aside, what is your Evince version? This error message could use some improvements for sure.

Sorry there was not any issue. I just change the PDF viewer to Built-in. I did not see this option before.

Thanks for the reply. Indeed, when Evince is detected then it will be set as default. Note you can edit the run configuration template to automatically have the built-in pdf viewer selected for new run configurations.
