No File drop-down menu

I have installed Behavior3editor and extracted Electron into its respective electron directory, but when I run Electron and click 'File' there is no drop-down. No import file. I can't find the nodes.json file to import if the program won't let me import anything.

There is an error that pops up in the program, but I'm not sure how to fix that, either. Maybe that's connected to the problem I'm having.

I installed Node.js and npm.
I installed Electron using the command line "npm install electron --save-dev".
I extracted Electron to the 'Electron ' folder inside the Behavior3Editor folder.

When I run Electron from there and go to open a file, it simply doesn't give me the option.

That looks completely broken. Are you using Electron 1.3.1 specifically or a later version? You can get 1.3.1 at: https://github.com/electron/electron/releases/tag/v1.3.1
