To further (and more explicitly) point Server Admins/Owners to how to setup HomeCord when added to a Server, HomeCord could post a "getting started" message once in the Server when added.
This message would either be sent in:
VIEW_CHANNEL
andSEND_MESSAGES
Permissions fordepending on permissions/which Channel it has access to after waiting 2 minutes post-join.
If it doesn't have access to sending messages in any Channel, it won't re-attempt to send the message later and thus no message will be sent on Server join.
I know how some people dislike adding Server Apps that instantly send a message when added. I'm only considering this since, despite it being BOTH in HomeCord's Discord Profile bio AND in HomeCord's Documentation AND in HomeCord's TopGG page, there's still a healthy amount of people who don't realise they have to setup HomeCord with its
/setup
Command in order for it to do anything once added.Case-in-point: at the time of creating this Discussion post - about 71% of Servers HomeCord is currently added to haven't setup HomeCord, thus HomeCord is doing nothing in said Servers.
