cd-to installs a Monterey version on non-Montery systems? #121764
Comments
Maybe a mistake upstream: jbtule/cdto#63 |
This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. It will be closed if no further activity occurs. |
No feedback from upstream regarding compatibility, unfortunately. In the meantime I'm open to reviewing a pull request that updates the cask to install the older version on Big Sur and earlier. Many other casks do something similar. |
Yes, no reaction upstream. |

Recent update of cask
cd-to
bumps to version 3.1.3 and forces a non-working version on my older system Big Sur (Intel-based): application icon showing a forbidden symbol.Official notes seem to say that this new version 3.1.3 is for Monterey only? https://github.com/jbtule/cdto#changes
My working solution on Big Sur was to remove the brew-installed version 3.1.3 and manually reinstall previous version 3.1
Command that failed
brew reinstall cd-to
Output of command with
--verbose --debug
Output of
brew doctor --verbose
Output of
brew tap
