For which schema is a change/update being suggested?

I would like to request an update to the library_preparation_protocol.json schema.

What should the change/update be?

I would like to add a new field - nuclei_concentration - to this schema to allow data contributors to describe the concentration of intact nuclei in snRNA-seq experiments.

This update constitutes a minor change to the schema(s) it affects.

What new field(s) need to be changed/added?

• Field name: nuclei_concentration
• Field description: The concentration of intact nuclei per μl
• Field type: integer
• Required: no
• Examples: 1000
• CV or enum: no

Why is the change requested?

Data contributors need to be able to describe the concentration of intact nuclei in snRNA-seq experiments.
