Problem Statement

There is currently no centralized reference page describing item definitions, identifiers, and common metadata used in Hytale assets. This information is important for modders working with items, regardless of tooling.

Without a dedicated reference, users must infer structure from asset files or third-party examples.

Proposed Solution

Add an Items documentation page that serves as a general reference for item data.

The page would document:

• Item identifiers and naming conventions
• Common JSON fields and structures
• Translation keys and naming behavior
• Classification concepts relevant to items
• Known caveats and edge cases

This page is documentation-only.

Additional Context

• Tooling such as Hytale Asset Index may optionally be referenced as a way to generate or validate item data
• The page remains useful even without external tools
• Intended as a stable reference for both beginners and advanced users
