Alternative option for z/OS Git

There is now another option for git on z/OS available from https://zosopentools.github.io/meta/#/ - this is an open-source community doing clean ports of git (currently 2.39) and other open tools. Installation is easy. While no official support is available (at this time) the community is responsive.

Another source for tools to improve the OMVS experience is https://coztoolkit.com/downloads/coz/index.html with improved sftp (support for z/OS datasets) and alternate commands in place of cp
