This guide permits to install Docker and build aithermometer docker image

DOCKER SETUP

sudo apt -y update

sudo apt -y install apt-transport-https ca-certificates curl gnupg-agent software-properties-common

sudo apt remove docker docker-engine docker.io containerd runc

curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/gpg | sudo apt-key add -

sudo add-apt-repository "deb [arch=amd64] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs) stable"

sudo apt update

sudo apt -y install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io

sudo usermod -aG docker $USER

newgrp docker

docker version

At this point, if all is done, you will see docker version and other infos

NVIDIA REPOSITORY

To permits installing NVIDIA cuda-cudnn10.0 image Add the package repositories

distribution=$(. /etc/os-release;echo $ID$VERSION_ID)

curl -s -L https://nvidia.github.io/nvidia-docker/gpgkey | sudo apt-key add -

curl -s -L https://nvidia.github.io/nvidia-docker/$distribution/nvidia-docker.list | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nvidia-docker.list

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y nvidia-container-toolkit

sudo systemctl restart docker

BUILD DOCKER IMAGE

To build an image use Dockerfile and use this commad into same Docker folder 

docker build -t pmorerio/aithermometer:release1 .

It is a long process........

USE IMAGE

To use your docker image:

create local results folder

start your docker with this, changing your folder name

docker run -it -d --gpus all -e NVIDIA_VISIBLE_DEVICES=0 --name=aithermometer -v <absolute path of your folder>:/ai_thermometer/results pmorerio/aithermometer:release1

docker exec -it aithermometer bash -c "./test.sh"

after this you will see some text output and host results folder will be filled with
oputput images

You can also:

    o Get Logs: docker logs aithermometer
    o Start Container: docker start aithermometer
    o Stop Container: docker stop aithermometer
    o Delete Container: docker rm aithermometer
    
to reuse name you must remove name with docker rm aithermometer
