I found your solution from a Stack Overflow post. The thing I didn't like about these packages is that they seem to play the animations one after the other instead of at the same time. Just a little nitpick lol.

Interesting. I don't think that is a little nitpick IMHO as that makes the background visible during the animation as can be seen in one of their examples where it makes the whole screen flash white.

Another nice thing is that you get access to the index and direction during the transition animation which enabled for some sweet transition that are different depending on if the screens that are transitioned between is placed on the left or right right or each other.

Maybe its worth making a package to get more people to benefit from it.
