Hi,

I have tried this "SubscribeAndHandleQBEvent.exe" with QuickBooks 2013 Pro, but it is not working.
I have successfully registered the exe SubscribeAndHandleQBEvent.exe in command promp, but still it is not working.

Any other latest solution to add a menu Under Reports menu in QuickBooks and run a C# Desktop application while selecting on that menu.

Hello,
I am having the same issue. I am trying to build a desktop app to integrate with quickbooks and decided to try this sample.

I can register but when I try to add a menu item and restart quickbooks (Quickbooks 2019 Pro) I don't see the menu item appearing. Any help on this?

@mewajda did you sign in as the administrator in QuickBooks?

As per intuit you need to sign in as the QuickBooks administrator for the authorization dialog to appear, here:

Hello, Yes I have resolved this. After sending the subscribe UI event I restarted QB as an admin (as you suggested) and then the UI item appeared. After that you can start QB as a normal user and the UI item will still be there.

Thanks, Mike
