Introduction

Kurt and Frank met to discuss and Jeremy submitted notes on his explorations from the week. Both Kurt and Frank didn't accomplish everything they had intended to, but discussed career paths and interests before planning out the week and month ahead.

Clean Notes

Jeremy Wright

• Improved the braille script a little bit and updated the readme to reflect the fact that users can download an STL directly from CadHub now.
• Planning to experiment with building web docs with GitBuilding, which will walk users through the process of modifying, rendering and downloading a braille sign (knowing full well the docs will need to be updated as CadHub evolves).
• I'm really interested in GitBuilding and deploying the docs automatically with CI, and want to try tying the whole ecosystem together within a simple project (braille). So CadQuery/Semblage, CadHub, OpenKnowHow and GitBuilding. Those should provide generation, sharing, discovery and documentation.
• Dogfooding Semblage by re-creating and improving my old assistive tech switch design in it. Doing that showed me that the 2D sketching tool was pretty much unusable and led to a lot of improvements. I'll keep working on the switch in Semblage and plan to share it via the ecosystem of tools that I mentioned above.

Frank Johnson

• Did not accomplish much, also lost the meeting minutes from last week before publishing to GitHub. Is prepared to begin publishing now.
• Will begin cleanup of IDE mockups, breakout into 3 viewing roles (signed out, signed in, looking at your own work).
• Will create a quick site map to visualize a roadmap of updates.
• Cleanup of IDE mockups into designs will give opportunity to start pinning down a brand look and feel.

Kurt Hutten

• Would like to get CadHub cleaned up for a presentation within the next month
• Did little bits and pieces
• S3 cache control headers set up, so the browser won't try to download assets again, good data limiting addition
• Added to the docker image that allows semantic naming of library names, could be a good addition if we need to support more than one version of libraries in future
• RoundAnything docs will be "maintained by CadHub", will be redirecting, link to demos
• Version update maintenance for RedwoodJS, seems to be getting close to v1.0.0.
• Will finish moving docs over.
• Will get started on biffing up the IDE. "Committing to what I said I'd do last week."
