• Upgraded RedwoodJS version to latest
• Removed the glitch effect
• Guided a couple Hacktoberfest issues
  • Saving your edits when forking
  • Increasing customiser input width
• Got a PR up for OpenSCAD zoom to fit for previews (meshes already fixed)
  • got it working, but gonna take more work on it since @t-paul raised a couple issues with the social image save, somewhat related under the initial load state
• Got some tentative start on the backend stuff, talking with brother about it.

• Raised a couple issues, one with the social card, one with saving the STL then saving the project producing a fatal error.
  • @Irev-Dev will make an issue, will look at these while working on OpenSCAD zoom

  • @t-paul raised the point that what is needed isn't a fast algorithm as much as a fast stable algorithm. Still an open unsolved space of doing CSG in a robust manner, handling the edge cases that arise.
  • @Irev-Dev would taking an existing library that's stable a good approach? @t-paul it's tricky, but some people have tried it with OpenSCAD. It seems to be going in that direction of parallelization, but either you parallelize within the algorithm or find a new algorithm that is more readily parallelized. The latter seems more promising to him.

I spoke too soon .. walnut lib is pretty new, and after we did initial perf tests the speed was improved as we were having the discord meeting...

Anyway walnut is now similar perf to jscad or even much faster in some instances ... it depends if you are using firefox/chrome and on the CPU of the PC where it is tested.
