What are you trying to modify
The current look of the swamp biome, with emphasis on the lakes:
is quite empty. There is not a lot of vegetation as you may see in "real" swamps:
I would recommend increasing densities of trees, reducing the size of the lakes, and adding more brushes, small plants, leaves on the ground and vegetation in the water & lilypads.
