Validate content on every file

We need to make sure that every single file is proofread, looks good visually, and modernized sufficiently.

We should create a checklist to go through for every file. Then we need a way to track that every file has been looked at, perhaps by creating an issue for every file/folder/group, or by using a task list in this issue.
