I love this app! I have some ideas to make it even better:

  1. Add an option to make the numbers negative. That way, by connecting the CC plus the output chest of an assembler/etc., inserters can be set to turn on only if the item count is less than zero. (i.e. more are being requested than are in the chest.)
  2. Add line/square/sorted options for CC placement, as a long line might be less than optimal in a given situation. ('Sorted' sorts objects in rows by category. Handy for large blueprints with many different types of objects.)
  3. Add option to output a book containing the original blueprint and requester blueprint.
  4. Add option to output as many pre-configured requester chests as required to hold all of the items so the CCs aren't needed.

Cheers!

I came across another option that will allow emulating requester chests as soon as you have construction bots: https://factorioprints.com/view/-OA2RuBGyp466R6dQoOD (It is slow as molasses as only one construction bot at a time will add items, but it eventually fulfills the request. You can even do it manually by switching to map view and placing stacks in chests/etc.) Can you please add the ability to have regular wood/iron/steel chests act as requester chests?
