Make sure that you're a human prompt

Hello, i'm logging into spotify with this sdk. My application has been working for years now with no problems but now on windows only (doesn't happen on the Mac), every time i login with PKCE authentication, i'm presented with a prompt that says "We need to make sure that you're a human".

Does any one know why this happens? Is this just the new spotify workflow or is there a chance that it's a result of faulty coding on my end? My application isn't handling that prompt well and i don't see it documented, so i'm struggling with how to deal with it.
