Support for mp4 background video would be nice

I've considered this in the past but the feature is basically incompatible with every single customization option so it would make sense as a standalone extension.

From my testing performance also takes a massive hit so it isn't ideal as a background, using an animated gif is a better option for this.

For the backgrounds I want to use, gifs would be extremely large unfortunately. I actually tried to convert them to optimized gifs, didn't not yield sensible results

I won't be adding this to the extension at this time because of the degraded performance and incompatibility with the current settings options mentioned in the previous message.
