Popouts handling overflow by overlapping in the same window

I'm not sure if this actually had anything to do with this issue but based on the current update, whenever the amount of text exceeds the popout window, the text below the bottom isn't accessible:

and when I try to select it to scroll down, it ends up turning out like this:

(I copied and pasted the same lines multiple times for the sake of demonstration)

This happens with all versions of the editor (global, single-page popout, and regular sidebar).

I actually can't reproduce this one. Would it be possible to make a video? Can you also share the code snippet you are using? That way I can test it directly in case it's something from that.

How the editor part of the plugin works is that it overlays a non-interactive div with the code overtop of a <textarea>, and they line up perfectly so that you are editing an unstyled textarea while seeing a rendered div with code over top. Based on your screenshot though, it looks like those two are not lining up.

This indicates there is a CSS issue. Could this be an interaction with another plugin you have installed maybe? Can you make a list of plugins, or even better if it's possible to disable plugins for a moment and test?

Sorry for the long wait, it took a while for me to get into a position where I could sit down and test out plugins one by one.
The culprit seems to have been WP Table Builder, so there's the mystery solved! We don't need it ourselves anymore so I've gone ahead and removed it, so we're fine now, but I thought I'd report back for reference.

Ah interesting. Thanks for looking into it and reporting back. I'll install it and see if there's a workaround I can add, in case you end up using that plugin again.
