There is another open source project called openDSH a lot of old openauto pro users including myself are going, and it uses the same openauto base. However you can install it on any os. Your readme mentions 32 bit, but would it be correct to assume it should work on the 64bit bookworm right?

But yeah in theory it should work but you can't use any included binary from this repo, you should need to build everything for your kernel and architecture.
