Fabric 1.20.4 and later

Why is this mod discontinued for Fabric versions later than 1.20.1? Is there any unofficial fork? What should Fabric users use instead if this mod wont get any updates?

Lat wants to move to NeoForge only, Fabric just isn't worth supporting from a numbers point of view (2% of downloads yet a lot of work having to go into porting it).
There are no planned forks that I know of, however Lat has said on Discord that if you do wish to port it you can get access to the main project for uploading to.
As for what to use instead, datapacks can increasingly do a lot of the basic stuff KubeJS can do, like recipes, loot, and even custom enchantments in 1.21. Or you could just move to NeoForge, and hope the Fabric mods either port there or Sinytra updates and they work via that.
