NUnit is a classical reliable open source platform, but being a freeware with limited development and support craftsmen there're apparent items which we can imrpove or fis:
- bulky and restrained syntax,
- pending bugs,
- missing calls and features.

Unit Tests are only a slice of the test pyramid, but technically they may serve all other types (I can't remember New -> Integration test in IDEs).
