Unfortunately, there is no way to install the Companion app without actually building it. Each project is unique and has a unique set of dependencies and other settings, so a universal companion is not possible. |

Thanks for your fast reply. I figured there might be no other way. But I think I have found a workaround by downloading and unzipping Xcode which is too large for my Mac onto an external drive and should be able to open it and use it for the companion app build and further builds down the line when connected to the external drive. Thanks for the support.

I got the package and tried doing the build with Xcode 12.4 but then for my
iPhones iOS I had to get Xcode 14.2 and do countless things. It finally
works but I have one issue at the minute. The input gyroscope isn’t
supported on my device. Are there any settings that I may have missed that
could be causing this or anything I need to do to my phone because the
input gyroscope was working with Unity remote before.

Thanks yes I realised in the documentation of the set up I had to use the
line using the foundation remote input at the top. Thanks so much and your
app is very good it is working nicely the only thing I am struggling with
is the floor plane as it feels to high right now but I’m sure I’ll figure
it out

Please see the # 4 here. The ENABLE_AR_FOUNDATION_REMOTE_LOCATION_SERVICES
is not required for the gyro and is only needed for GPS and compass:

Or explore the GyroscopeExample.cs sample after pressing the
'Installer/Import Samples' button.

Is there any way that I could download a companion app on my phone without having Xcode. My Mac does not have enough storage to download Xcode right now but I need to debug my AR app without creating a build and just in the editor. Is there any work around to make my iPhone compatible and give the data without the need for Xcode.
