Will you be supporting AR Foundation 5 on Open XR devices in general and Meta Quest 2 & 3 in particular? #76

Hi, Correct me if I'm wrong, but besides the Meta Quest, Holo Lens is the only device compatible with AR Foundation and OpenXR. I don't currently have plans to support Holo Lens because of these reasons. As for the Meta Quest, I feel cautiously optimistic. If the user interest is high, I will consider buying the Quest 3 and adding the support. |

Holo Lens was not my interest. AR is moving out of the "hold your phone in front of your face area" and your tool would be a great addition to help us build applications for headsets too. Currently developers are building AR apps on the Quest 2 using monochrome pass through. The Quest Pro allows for color pass through. But Quest 3 will open the market dramatically, and I think quickly. It will be the gateway to future AR headset for all those who got excited by an Apple Vision Pro but can't afford it. There are many other companies using the same Qualcomm chips (like Quest) about to release AR devices on the market. Lynx-R1 is such an example that you can search on. These devices are primarily supporting Open XR as a default, standard platform. |

I came here looking for the same thing. Support for Quest Pro / 3 would be immensely useful. |
