Issue: Failed to Delete File from Knowledge Base

Summary

When attempting to delete a file from a Knowledge Base, the deletion fails with a generic error message "Failed to delete file." despite the user confirming the deletion action.

Environment

• URL: https://test.lamb-project.org/knowledgebases?view=detail&id=27
• LAMB Version: v0.4
• User: ludo

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to Sources of Knowledge → Knowledge Bases
2. Open a Knowledge Base details page (e.g., pw_kb_1768132574468 with ID 27)
3. In the Files tab, click the "Delete" action for a file (e.g., ikasiker_fixture.txt)
4. Confirmation dialog appears: "Delete this file and its embeddings? This cannot be undone."
5. Click "OK" to confirm deletion

Expected Behavior

The file and its associated embeddings should be deleted from the Knowledge Base, and the file should no longer appear in the Files list.

Actual Behavior

An alert dialog appears with the message: "Failed to delete file."

The file remains in the Knowledge Base with status "completed" and is not deleted.
