Monster Pictures/Symbols

Would it be possible to add a database of pictures of the monsters? Thought I'd ask. Thanks

It's something I'd like to do, but my focus has been on getting more information into the API. If you have a place I can easily source images from, or would like to provide them, I'd be happy to add it to my backlog so I can get to it in a future update.

Funny you should ask because I actually am scouring the internet for ong files of the monsters. I'm assigning them numerically based on the Id! I'll send it over when I have all of them.

@LartTyler I have a script that can pull icons from Kiranico. Are those icons something you could use?

@DeveloperPaul123 Definitely something I could use. I'm not sure when I'll be able to add images / icons, since the contrib site doesn't support asset uploads right now, and I'd have to do it all by hand, but I'd definitely love to have something like that on hand for when I'm able to do that.

To clarify are you looking for actual images of the monsters? Or the monster icons? Or both?

Both would be nice to have. At the moment, the API doesn't have any fields for monster images, so there's no rush to get that done. I don't plan on starting to work on support for that until after Iceborne's data is fully supported.

Attached is a zip file of all the monster thumbnails for the base game. I pulled these from Kiranico. They're all 512x512 png files. Kiranico doesn't have IB monster thumbnails yet. I can also pull thumbnails for all the weapons if that's desired.
