Vertical orientation #79
-
|
Greetings! I have Trofeo Vision mounted vertically, and I cannot figure out how to set it up properly. I can set display angle to 90 degrees, but this re-uses horizontal layout and just squishes it horizontally and stretches vertically. This is not exactly usable. How can I setup proper vertical layout? Thanks, |

i barely look at discussion, usually just read issues, because i'm not gonna search for issues everywhere bud. When you set the angle to 90°, the app rotates the rendered frame — but the theme you have loaded is still a landscape 960×540 layout, which is why it looks squished. The fix is to use a portrait theme designed for vertical orientation: Set angle to 90° (or 270°) |

Thank you for your reply! I didn't want to file an issue since I suspected it was me doing something wrong. Still, I cannot get it to work since the cloud theme pack that I need is not available. I'll file an issue this time. |

The fix is to use a portrait theme designed for vertical orientation:
Set angle to 90° (or 270°)
Open Cloud Themes — with a non-zero angle set, the browser automatically switches to the portrait 540×960 theme pack
Download and apply a portrait theme
Local themes (~/.trcc/data/) are always landscape and don't rotate with you — portrait layouts come from the cloud theme packs. This matches how the original Windows app…
