I noticed after using it, the download speed for a file is slower than on Free Download Manager. I can download the same file but Fatrat is slower than when downloading it on FDM. Fatrat downloads the same file at about 130 kb/s, whereas FDM downloads at 1200 kb/s. It only happened on that file download. I did a test from Filehippo, and both managers are at the same speed of of about 2700 kb/s. Is there something than can be tweaked?

I don't know what kind of download that was (FTP or BitTorrent?), but I didn't notice such issues. I regularly have download speeds around 4 MB/s.

Sorry, I forgot to mention this is strictly http. I avoid bittorrent as much as possible. if you do the index.of trick in google for movies, and download with the download manager you'll see what mean. But the speed in FDM is much faster for some reason.

Make sure you have no speed limit configured in the queue's properties (by accident). Is FDM using multiple connections (segmentations) to download the file?

There is no speed limit set in the queue. But from what I can see, yes, FDM can use multiple connections. Apparently, that has been implemented into its design. However, I went over the mirrors section in the options, and it's not set to search for other mirrors.
