Robot vacuum with Home app shows Updating...

When exposing a dreame robot vacuum to homekit via matterbridge, it exposes itself with lots of switches and doesnt identify as a vacuum

Follow process to expose via hass plugin.

Ok.
First: you forgot to set mdnsInterface and you have more 30 interfaces !

Second: I need the log from the beginning. So please restart and wait a while, try to control the vacuum and resend me the 2 logs.

Third: a question. Did you try to run without serverMode ?

Four: That device has hundred of switches so it would be better to to put all of them in entity black list.

1st - Ive done that now
2nd - that was logging from me added the device back to homekit and letting it run, cant control the vacuum as the switch dont move, doing another run
3rd - Never turned that off
4th - anyway of telling it to ignore everything called switch*.*

4th: not in that way but you can use the filters like area or label if you prefer. Up to you to decide how to get what you want/need.
Either white list and black list with the select or fileters by are label or both but that is more complex.

You have also dynamic plugin I saw before.
Maybe better to use the vaccum from there.
I don't find it anymore but it is the second time in the last day that someone has issue with Home app and robot.

Managed to pause and resume the robot via homekit but took some effort

I thought the dynamic plugin was just for testing?

1. Matter accessory is from dynamic plugin ? Where do the switched come from ? There are no switches on dynamic plugin vacuum ?
2. what version of apple home you have ?

I was using the built in vacuum cleaner in the dynamic plugin for testing

I have 26.2, apple tv 4k wired with 2 homepods again on 26.2
